As we welcome cooler fall weather and the busy harvest season, it’s a perfect time to celebrate the vibrant community of the Lower Umatilla Basin with two events that we think illustrate the strength of our communities and continuous investment in making them better.

On Friday, September 5th, The Oregon Board of Agriculture heard from Department of Agriculture (ODA) staff about ODA’s LUBGWMA rulemaking process currently being conducted.

The Morrow County Clean Water Consortium (CWC) met on August 19th, 2025, to discuss the latest in the county’s efforts to hook up the West Glen neighborhood to clean, municipal water.
